Comments: Presumably a misidentification by Higgins & Marrat (1877) as Olivella gracilis (Broderip & Sowerby, 1829) is Eastern Pacific; or possibly a Recent example of O. gracilis ternuculata Weisbord, 1962, described as a fossil from Venezuela. According to Weisbord (1962:379), O. nivea is the Western Atlantic analogue of O. gracilis.
