Comments: Locality of 88°13'N cited by Clench & Aguayo for a paratype lot is an error for 83°13'N (Blake sta. 41). Quinn (1979) stated that the species reaches the Lesser Antilles, but didn't give precise localities. These records might correspond to the Martinique and St. Lucia records of Solariella amabilis of Dall (1889a).
