Comments: Not preoccupied by Turbonilla bushiana A. E. Verrill, 1882.
Combining Genera:  Ividia Menestho

Fargoa archeri Bartsch, 1955, p. 81-82, pl. 16, fig. 4
[Synonym]
Type Locality: Pliocene of North St. Petersburg, Florida
Maximum Reported Size: 2 mm
References: Bartsch (1955) M; Robertson (1978) s

Comments: Gunderson (1998) reidentified as Boonea seminuda the specimen he (1997) recorded from Sanibel Island as Chrysallida buijsei.

Fargoa calesi Bartsch, 1955, p. 80-81, pl. 16, fig. 2
[Synonym]
Type Locality: Pliocene of North St. Petersburg, Florida
Maximum Reported Size: 1.6 mm
References: Bartsch (1955) M; Robertson (1978) s; Robertson (1996) v; Turgeon et al. (1998)
Comments: Used as valid by Robertson (1966), who considered Odostomia bushiana Bartsch, 1909 to be preoccupied by Jeffreys, 1884. However Jeffreys (1884b: 357) did not name such a taxon; rather he considered Turbonilla bushiana of Verrill to be a synonym of Odostomia magnifica (Seguenza, 1879). Turbonilla bushiana A. E. Verrill, 1882 is still classified as a Turbonilla, so no homonymy exists.

Odostomia charlottae Usticke, 1969, p. 31, pl. 6, fig. 1343
[Synonym]

Odostomia dux auct. non Dall & Bartsch, 1906,
[Not available]

Depth: 1 to 91 m (live 2 to 40 m)
Maximum Reported Size: 3.7 mm
Distribution: USA: Massachusetts, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida: East Florida, West Florida; USA: Louisiana, Texas; Colombia, Brazil: Sao Paulo
References: Wells & Wells (1961) L; Wass (1972); Odé & Speers (1972f); Porter (1974) {L}; Robertson (1978) s; Miller (1983); Lyons (1989b) cM; Odé (1993c) DlW
Comments: Misidentification. Wells & Wells (1961) argued that the type locality of Japan was incorrect, but Robertson (1978) noted that they had not examined type material and so preferred to use a name with a Western Atlantic type locality.
Combining Genera:  Ividia Miralda
