(2007) DLNSE Comments: Castellanos & Fernández (1972c) considered that their name Bathydomus longisetosus had priority, having been published on 1 August 1972. Although that is the date on the front cover of the journal, the back cover says that printing was finished on 31 August 1972. The article by Klappenbach and Ureta in which A. duartei was named is dated August 1972, which is taken as the last day of the month under ICZN rules. Scarabino (2004: 318) stated that Figueiras & Sicardi (1980) had made a first reviser's choice between the names in using A. duartei as valid, but this is not the case, as those authors did not mention date of publication for either name. The first reviser's choice thus appears to have been made by Scarabino (2004), who used A. duartei as valid, with date of publication of both names taken as 31 August 1972.
