Comments: Internal shell 5 mm (Thompson 1977). Valdés et al. (2006) distinguish this species in the tubercles smaller in the center of the dorsum compared to P. crossei/P. atlanticus, which has tubercles all of similar size. Rudman (2006) synonymized P. evelinae with P. atlanticus but did not address the size of the tubercles.
