Comments: Also spelled ferrusacii, but stated on sheet FF [pp. 216] to be named for M. B. Ferussac. Donovan's work was published in parts issued monthly, with three plates in each part. The plate with the illustration of Voluta ferussacii is dated February 1, 1824, but most of the corresponding text may have been issued in January as it starts in signature EE which also treats species on plates dated January 1.
