Comments: Laursen (1953) incorrectly calls this a nomen nudum, and places it in the synonymy of J. pallida. Anton's description, however, matches that of J. globosa, mentioning in particular the siphonlike extension of the aperture that distinguishes J. globosa from J. pallida.
