Comments: Abbott (1974) treated T. limatula as a form of T. protexta; Bratcher & Cernohorsky (1987) considered it a nomen dubium. However, Bratcher identified specimens at ANSP as T. limatula var. acrior in 1987, which indicates that she accepted T. limatula as valid.
