Comments: Filmer (2001) states that Conus lindae is "a synonym of C. speciosissimus Reeve, 1848, (a synonym of C. sphaeculatus)", but in his entry for C. speciosissimus he states "a synonym of C. ornatus Sowerby, 1833, (a synonym of C. magellanicus).
