Latirus gracilis Reeve, 1847, [Synonym] Comments: Non Anton (1838). Erroneously reported at Curacao by Dautzenberg (1900). Turbinella gracilis Reeve, 1847 is an Eastern Pacific species, now known as Latirus praestantior Melvill, 1892 (Keen, 1971). The identity of Dautzenberg's material has not been determined.
