Comments: Classified here as a Fusinus sensu lato rather than a Fasciolaria because of the axial sculpture on the early whorls, the surface texture of the shell, the deeper suture, the relatively smaller aperture, and the narrow siphonal canal (G. Rosenberg, 19 Sept. 2006)
